Counselling is a complementary therapy that allows a client to have a safe, non-judgemental space to explore emotions and deep seated behavioural patterns with the aim to overcome personal issues.
At Focus, the counselling process can take different guises and is tailored to the individual client and their needs.
A Focus counsellor is trained to listen to a client intently and will not pass judgment on anything they say, maintaining strict, professional confidentiality rules at all times.
Counselling is a way for you to go on your own emotional journey of self discovery, aiding you with tools and processes along the way which you can use to successfully deal with issues you may come across in the future.
Although counselling is often traditionally used for more specific reasons (bereavement, addiction etc), at Focus we believe and practice Counselling in a more non-specific way also, as a useful way to discover self.
